Who are we?
KommMit e.V. was founded in 2013 by employees who have been working with people seeking protection in Berlin and Brandenburg for many years. It is a registered non-profit association consisting of the Psychosozialen Zentrum für Geflüchtete und Migrant:innen in Brandenburg and the Beratungszentrum und Betreuungszentrum für junge Flüchtlinge und Migrant:innen in Berlin.

Psychosoziales Zentrum für Geflüchtete und Migrant:innen in Brandenburg (PSZ Brandenburg)
KommMit-PSZ sees itself as an institution for specialized psychosocial counselling and health care for people seeeking protection. We support and advise mentally distressed people seeking protection regardless of their residence status, nationality, sexual identity and orientation as well as political, religious, ethnic or other affiliations.
Our focus is on psychosocial counseling, psychotherapy, art therapy as well as initial orientation, social counseling, independent asylum procedure counseling and independent legal advice. We also offer a training program for migration social workers and are committed to improving the living conditions of people seeking protection in Brandenburg.
Betreuungszentrum für junge Flüchtlinge und Migrant:innen (BBZ Berlin)
The BBZ is a counselling and support centre for young people seeking protection and migrants and their families. The BBZ advises on everyday and social issues with a special focus on and inclusion of asylum and residence-specific matters.
